This 7-story mixed-use project is the result of collaboration between Gethsemane Lutheran Church and the Compass Housing Alliance.  It includes the renovation of the church sanctuary building and construction of a new, shared 7-story structure.  The first two floors house the church’s chapel and garden, community spaces, and offices, as well as Dekko Place’s residential community facilities, offices and manager’s unit.  The upper five floors comprise 50 units of permanent affordable housing and a residential rooftop deck with garden.  The lower level is Hope Center, home to Mary’s Place, a day shelter for homeless women and their children, and community service programs of the church.
